Arturo, the artist behind Nerdy Maps, founded the venture in Barcelona,
merging his passion for fantasy, art, and cartography. What began
as a personal hobby evolved into a full-time career crafting detailed
maps that bring imaginary worlds to life for fans, authors, storytellers,
and game masters globally. His diverse portfolio includes sprawling
fantasy realms, medieval cities, and sci-fi star charts, all characterized
by storytelling, atmosphere, and meticulous detail. Nerdy Maps’ work
has been featured in various projects, from fantasy books and board
games to a Civilization VI ad campaign for Netflix Games and freelance
contributions for Dungeons & Dragons (Wizards of the Coast). Arturo
remains dedicated to exploring new worlds, one map at a time.
